There is more to Rancho La Leona East than cattle.
|
 |
The natural setting of Rancho La Leona East makes for a very good hunting experience and leases are available on
occasion. Sanderas are maintained in the deep brush of the southern pasture for hunters.
Whitetail deer, javelina, feral hogs, turkey, coyotes, and quail are common. At this moment, no hunting leases are being sold, but that may change in the future. Varmit
hunting (coyotes) may be allowed.
For those hunters who use a camera rather than a gun, there are also many nongame species and many kinds of flowering cacti and other flora to photograph. Since there is no light pollution from big cities this
far out, the night skies also provide excellent opportunites for photographers.
For more information about these opportunites, please email Joe or call at 956-486-2640.
